The Storm Witch, Onna, sister of the Wind Witch is known for making spells into pills and treatments. The Storm Pill is one of the most dangerous of her spells and is, of course, forbidden for her to give out. Which means that she only gives them very rarely…
132 of 365 – Master Stones
Keepers have the ability to store memories and energy into stones. Contrary to common thought, the large, pure gemstones are often used by the more inexperienced Keepers. The highest masters don’t need very much raw gem material to work with, therefore their stones are either very small, or they are gem mixed with average rock. Unfortunately, that means the craft has a high entry-level cost.
131 of 365 – Citrus Crawler
There is a story about a grove of oranges… no, let us back up a bit.
In the land of Kanvala, there is a region called Mierat, consisting mostly of forests and ground vegetation. Mierat is known for brilliantly crafted teas and master calligraphers. Residing in Mierat is the royal house of Bergamot, so named, naturally, because of their monopoly on the Bergamot trees in Kanvala. They were able to secure this monopoly, because they hold captive a dark beast that once roamed the forests. They were able, by use of the cipheric power of written word spells, to capture and seal the beast, and can, theoretically, release it upon whomever they wish. Understandably they get what they want.
And so the creature remains locked away. For now.

The piplan grows much like a giant grape vine. It’s close cousin the veratine is similar in taste but covered in a fluffy coating that is often peeled off before eating, but doesn’t have to be. The two fruits are similar enough that when one attempts to grow veratines, the plant may end up producing piplan instead. It’s a small gamble.
129 of 365 – Weaving Shuttles
The Double Shuttles of Katumara are said to be able to weave the finest strands and can shift their size to fit the weaver. I have yet to see them shift size, but after use I can vouch for their extreme smoothness.
Here’s a shot of them outside of their archive box:
128 of 365 – Legend of Regan Sol
The legend goes that once the sun beast, Heltere, came down from the skies, Regan Sol, the leader of Solidad, stepped forth to take him down. Heltere boasted that he could not be destroyed for his mother, the Sun, would restore him, healing any wound he received almost instantly. Regan Sol, being as stubborn as he, covered her body in a protective spell and took him on. The fight raged on, with Regan Sol eventually scoring a blow that knocked the beast out.
From here the legend varies. Some say they were both destroyed. Another tale goes that Regan Sol did die, but a shard lodged itself in her arm, giving her regenerative power and immortality. Another track of this legend states that Heltere was sealed underground and his occasional shifting in his sleep is the cause of earthquakes.
127 of 365 – Medic
Clipped from a newspaper article about medics in Kanvala. They have such snappy uniforms.
126 of 365 – Regan Gan Talla
Of the four regions of Kanvala, Atur, the mountain range has the honor of holding the High Emperor Mariot and Empress Sofya (casually known as the Empirical Duo). They’ve never sat for a formal photo or painting. The Empress will often say, “We have a country to run. Take a snapshot and let’s get back to work.” This sketch was, therefore, done from complied photographs.
125 of 365 – Mushrooms
72% of the Aturan native flora is poisonous. We’ll leave you with that tidbit while you’re packing for your camping trip.

It’s winter here in the Northern hemisphere! Here’s a hearty winter soup just for you.
