Journey Day 2
The city would have been overrun by massive rivers had it not been cut into a criss-cross of canals. The canal walls are crafted out of a falcilte compound and are extremely resistant to erosion.

A few weeks ago I went on an urban sketching event. It was a weekend full of sketching and I have to say… I’ve completely forgotten how to sketch. My sketchbook is filled with the preparation work for finished drawings that have no destiny. I’ve been making things that would look good in a post or a compilation, rather than just… sketching! I’m now trying to let my sketches be sketches and my final drawings be drawings.
